Haji Tapah - Artistic Mamak

Mamak stall is no longer just serving food and drinks but the way they serve the food and the variety of foods are very important. Besides, they must also provide a big screen tv to attract more customers. At Haji Tapah, Taman Lembah Maju (Corner shop lots), they even provide IDD service. I like their food because of the quality and also the sense of art. Even though the price are slighty higher than outside but you can really enjoy each of the food and drinks. That day, I ordered a roti salad with fried chicken, the way they present the food in the plate are really artistic. I remember last time I had the same dish at Taman Saga, they just cut and put it on the plate like having a piece of popiah (straight) but as per the picture that i had taken, they arrange it in a very good manner with line of sauces on top. (RM 5.00)The chicken soup is very tasty but I dun really like those vege (dun know what is the name) (RM 3.50). KY ordered Tosai Ghee, his favourite, and they served with 4 kuah. It taste really good and it is a must try food in the mamak. (price forgotten).

Roti Salad Wz Chicken. The cabbage is abit bitter. Maybe not using a fresh cabbage. It is advisable not to order with chicken but only Roti Salad and then, fried chicken (ala carte). The price is the same but the chicken portion is bigger.

Chicken Soup. I never tried chicken soup in any mamak. I think they used the same soup based for both chicken and kambing soup. Very nice.

Tosai Ghee. This is very very delicious especially when you ate it together with the orange colour kuah ( not curry but kuah that made from dried coconut).
